In between the four or so projects I've been working on these past few weeks, I've still got some time to spend on sets, even after I told myself I'd like to take a break from live action for a while. But I do like the chemistry of all those people, even when it's not always pure synergy. What I HAVE realized, though, is that on set, I can only work on two levels: either a director, someone with complete creative responsibility, or a PA/gaffer/general peon, someone that stands around waiting to be ordered what to do. The latter is a huge freedom from mental stress, at least if you know how to do the things they've had you do. Plus you get to hover around the craft services table. Anyway, Happy Mardi Gras.
